Walk It Off And Tone It Up
Reviews from VideoFitness
Walk It Off and Tone It Up is a 5-mile Leslie with her by herself. I've never done the whole thing, but have done most of it a couple of times. The first mile is a stereotypical Leslie mile. I do the warm up and then skip to mile #2 because I find it a bit boring. Miles 2, 3, and 4 start with upper-body strength work with the band while you do walking moves with your feet. (I haven't done Mile 5 enough to remember.) Then, you toss the band aside and do fast walking.
The thing I like about this workout is that is seems more varied than most of workouts. She does knee up combinations. She does side steps into grapevines and back to side steps. She does moving knee ups and kick backs. She does a mambo combination. I know she does these in other workouts, but she does more of them here and, after Mile 1, the workout seems to flow.
Leslie is by herself in this workout. The music is nothing more than a way to keep the beat. Leslie is warm and encouraging and not hyper. She talks as she always does about health and fitness throughout the workout If you've done other workouts by her, you've heard her spiel. Yet, I enjoy it more in this workout than in others.
I really like Leslie in this workout for the reasons above.
