21 Day Fix Extreme: Plyo Fix Extreme
Reviews from VideoFitness
I did not enjoy this workout at all. Drill moves, repetitive motions, super high impact, boring music, and an instructor who seems unfriendly. Zero fun factor. I hope the rest of the extreme fix workouts are better than this.
I've never worked out with Autumn before. I wasn't impressed. She seemed bossy...I just didn't connect with her. For reference I prefer Cathe and Chalenes warm personalities.
It's not extreme. If you've already done P90X3, this is a walk in the park. It simply is not "extreme" - none of the workouts in this collection are. If you are new to exercise or still a beginner, then yes, they may feel tough. However, if you bought this because you are a seasoned athlete, you will be very disappointed as I was.
For some reason they tried to "thinnify" everyone on the set. This makes everyone look distorted. Their faces are loooonnnnggg.
This is a 31 minute weighted lower body plyo workout. Autumn works out in a gym set with a group of background exercisers, one providing some easier modifications. You will need dumbbells for this workout. You will perform 5 rounds of 2 exercises, 30 seconds of work followed by 30 seconds of rest.
After a warm up, exercises include: weighted squat jumps, weighted lunge jumps, single leg weighted squat hops, plyo plie jacks, burpee tuck jumps, weighted squat box jumps, weighted skater floor touch, weighted jumps, plank moguls, shuffle plie & curl, a one minute bonus of plyo lunges & plyo squats and a quick stretch.
I rate this an advanced workout that really had my lower body burning & my heart pumping. After 30 seconds of tough work, I needed those 30 seconds of rest! As always, Autumns cuing & instruction are great. This is a great, yet tough workout! I received this DVD to review.
