Bender Barre None: Total Body Conditioning
Reviews from VideoFitness
I wasn't a huge fan of the other Bender Barre None dvd (Lean Cuts) which is kind of funny since I found them somewhat similar. And --based on previews-- I was fairly certain that I'd like Lean Cuts the best. But all around, I felt like the instructors' form was better (or less sloppy) in this dvd, the tag-team instruction flowed better, the moves just felt better (in Lean Cuts, things occasionally felt choppy: pick up weights, put down weights, grab ball, put down ball, etc).
Anyway, same ol' gray set (didn't bother me), same ol' unremarkable music (didn't even notice it) but a decent workout. I definitely can see myself reaching for this when I want something half-way between my more authentic/serious barre workouts and my strictly weights dvds. There are lots of lunges in this workout, but most of them are static and modifications are shown (using a chair for balance). I think this workout does a good job at targeting the core and balance (several 1-legged moves). Glad to have another dvd to use with my little squishy ball, also!
The instructors lead the workout in a tag-team fashion. Instructors' form is fine, though in Lean Cuts the form shown is not the best...
