iBallet 4 (50 minutes) ♥♥
Barre work (20:51)
▪ In 1st position: Plié, side stretch, spinal roll (I prefer to do this without the barre and to do the spinal roll as a port de bras)
▪ In 1st position relevé: Plié and side stretch
▪ In 2nd position: Plié and side stretch / in relevé
▪ Side battements (grand battement)
▪ Brushes (petit battement) x3 and plié: front, side, back, side
▪ Attitude (small presses)
▪ Ribs isolations (rib cage side-to-side)
▪ Side stretch
Core work (10:12)
▪ Roll ups
▪ Single straight leg stretch
▪ Isolations (3½ min… long!)
▪ Mermaid
Floor work (14:43)
▪ On knee side leg lift / small presses / small leg circles
▪ Pulley movement (side kicks, pointing toes up and flexing down)
▪ Hot potato (tap toes forward and tap heel back, then tap toes front and back)
▪ Slide, point and pull
▪ Pulley movement (side kicks, pointing toes up and flexing down)
▪ Lying on back: Inner thigh cross (point toes out and flex pulling legs in)
Stretch (4:14)
▪ Lie on back with feet together and knees open
▪ Spinal stretch
▪ Sitting with legs in V position: Side stretch / Forward stretch
▪ Seated forward bend
Notes:
▪ Good dance-type music with a strong beat
▪ This is a very dynamic workout with a strong ballet (barre) and pilates (floor) feel. Compared to other iballet workouts, it uses more large range of movement and practically no isometric, Lotte Berk moves.
