This is a good intermediate-level step workout. Both choreography and intensity are intermediate.

Gay teaches the first section, and the step is pointed toward the TV. Then Janis teaches the second part, and your step is turned back the regular way. Both routines would be great for intermediate exercisers. For advanced exercisers, this is a good workout to do in conjunction with a strength workout or on days you don't feel like doing a high-intensity tape. The choreography will seem easy to advanced people, but sometimes you just get in a mood where you don't want to have to think!

I don't know if it's possible to buy this tape anymore -- it's from 1992. I got mine from the exchange. If you see it somewhere for a few bucks, I think it's worth picking up.

The instructors and all the participants are national step champions. Both Gay and Janis are excellent, and I like them both.
